Friends of the Osceola Public Library
Story Time Assistant: Help provide a fun and enjoyable event for families! Duties may include room set-up/clean-up, welcoming families, helping plan Story Time and assisting children with crafts and activities.
Special Event Volunteer: Assist staff members with fun events at the library. Duties may include helping with set-up/clean-up, greeting and directing volunteers and attendees, etc.
Clerical Support Volunteer: Assist OPL staff with clerical duties including shelving books, shelf-reading and straightening, book mending, CD and DVD cleaning, and helping with special projects.
Computer Instruction Assistant: Help with our Tuesday tech labs or share your expertise and teach computer skills to OPL patrons.
Gardening Assistant: Help keep OPL grounds looking nice! Plan, plant, and maintain flowers and gardens on here at the library.
Summer Help: Help with our popular Summer Reading Program and related exciting activites.
Student Internship: Coordinate a job description and experience with Library Director for academic credit.
Do you have other great skills to offer? Let us know! Are you a crafter? Baker? Do you homebrew? Are you a bird watcher? Accomplished gardener? Have you gone on a spectacular vacation and want to share? Do you have expertise on a certain topic? Come to the OPL and share your knowledge with the community!
